Then one small glass side was removed from each tank with a razor blade (pic 3). The two tanks were glued together with aquarium silicone and a small piece of plexi glass was fittet into the small gap in the floor (pic 4). A divider for the sand area was glued in with transparent aquarium silicone (pic 5).

An overview of the complete cage is shown in pic 6, almost half of the cage is furnished with chinchilla sand because Robos really love sand. The left side of the cage (pics 7 and 8) is furnished with stones, a mangrove root, a twig, a cork tunnel, an amphora from a deco store and a 20cm (8") wood wheel by Rodipet.

In the middle of the cage is a self-made hideout made from wood and finished with child safe paint and sand (pic 9). On top of the hideout is the water bowl, a bridge willow, moss, pieces of bark and proso millet.

The right side of the cage (pic 11) contains a lot of bedding, pieces of bark, moss, play food, twigs and a willow bridge. Lily really enjoys the enhanced hamster cage and uses every inch.
