double-AQ 200x40 for Robo Lily Userin Scyza from
Hamster Forum their Roborowski dwarf hamster Lily has a double aquarium with
200cm x 40cm that a beautifully formed focal point in the living room

Originally Lily lived in a 100cm x 40cm Aquarium, the keeper appeared to be small.

for the extension was procured a second, matching cabinet and a second tank, also with 100cm x 40cm. This size is for example. Available as a simple glass bowl - at Hornbach or stretcher for about € 45. From each aquarium each a narrow side was cut out by razor blade and remove the excess silicone.

The two tanks were pushed together and with AQ Silicon reconnected. In the resulting hole in the ground a piece of Plexiglas cut to size was used. Alternatively, the resulting gap to bridge with a separate out the side windows.

The transition to the scattered field is a self-made "cave" made of wood, which was coated with wood glue, sawdust, Sabberlack and sand.

English Summary
Double tank setup with 200cm x 40cm for Robo Lily
User Scyza from the German Hamster Forum made this beautiful home (pic 1) from two tanks for her dwarf hamster Roborowskii Lily. Lily used to live in a 100cm x 40cm (39 "x 16") tank Which Seemed to small (pic 2). Sun another matching cupboard and same size tank was bought for a total size of
200cm x 40cm (78" x 16") . Then one small glass side was removed from each tank with a razor blade (pic 3). The two tanks were glued together with aquarium silicone and a small piece of plexi glass was fittet into the small gap in the floor (pic 4). A divider for the sand area was glued in with transparent aquarium silicone (pic 5).
An overview of the complete cage is shown in pic 6, almost half of the cage is furnished with chinchilla sand because Robos really love sand. The left side of the cage (pics 7 and 8) is furnished with stones, a mangrove root, a twig, a cork tunnel, an amphora from a deco store and a
20cm (8") wood
wheel by Rodipet.
In the middle of the cage is a self-made hideout made from wood and finished with child safe paint and sand (pic 9). On top of the hideout is the water bowl, a bridge willow, moss, pieces of bark and proso millet.
The right side of the cage (pic 11) contains a lot of bedding, pieces of bark, moss, play food, twigs and a willow bridge. Lily really enjoys the enhanced hamster cage and uses every inch.
